Written the Day after Brenna's Graduation Party (01/06/2007)

Wow, I'm a little rough today....

You see my boys and I all headed to Chico Hot Springs in Livingston for one of our friend's graduation parties yesterday. And what a time we had, let me summarize the experience for you.

Well a few of us loaded up in my buddies Tahoe. We brought along a pony keg of Winter Ale, a case of Sierra Nevada, and two cases of Corona (the smaller kind like you see in Mexican restaurants used as salt and pepper shakers). I suppose I should mention here that one of my friends works for a distributor, so that made it nice! We also brought a CD player, the cards and poker chips, and our overnight stuff.

Before rolling into Chico we stopped at the Rib & Chop House in Livingston, which I had heard good things about, but never had eaten there. It's a nice place and the food was amazing... I highly recommend it.

We finally made it to Chico at around 7pm and settled into one of the big cabins on the hill overlooking the resort. There were a few other people already at the cabin that were part of the party that we did not already know, so we all made acquaintances and tapped into the liquor to pre-game before heading to the hot springs.

Once inside the complex we played a few games of pool while waiting for all the other people in the party to filter in. Before long we were in our bathing suits and soaking in the warm water. It was snowing and the steam off the hot water made it hard to see people that were only a few feet away from you. It was pretty cool actually...

After soaking we all headed for the bar, slammed down some shots and suddenly everyone was having a smashing good time. Word soon got out that I could cut a rug, so I was pulled out onto the dance floor where I remained for most of the evening. It was crazy... my only breaks from dancing were to have more shots!

Well we all decided to leave the bar about 1AM this morning and head back to the cabin. Once back at the cabin it was madness, the party had grown to include not only the original party goers but a few people from the bar as well! Right about this time my memory starts to get a little fuzzy, but I woke up with all my clothes on, my money and wallet all still in tact, and a pounding in my head that only recently began to fade.

I hadn't partied like that for quite some time... I must admit I had a good time though! Well now I'm safely back in Bozeman, and not wanting to go bar-tending tonight at 5:30 at all.
